Goal of SWAT:

The goal of SWAT is to work with local police forces to apprehend dangerous criminals, this can include search warrants on houses, hard stops on vehicles or securing civilian buildings.

Counter terrorism operations:

If there is a terrorist attack in lakeside, the SWAT team will deploy ASAP, using helicopters or vehicles to get to the scene, upon arrival SWAT will neutralise the threat and then working alongside police secure the area and search any other civilians around the area of the attack, a strong police and SWAT presence will reassure the civilians that everything is under control.

Discipline Within SERT:

Everyone deserves a second chance, that is why I have setup a warning points system for SERT. Warning points can be obtained by: not following orders, breaking SOPS, being rude to other SERT members. 3 warning points will be issued, if you obtain three warning points you will be suspended from SERT for 1 week. After the week ends you will be allowed to come back to SERT however you will be in the probation squad. If you receive another 3 points then you will be permanently removed from SERT and blacklisted from joining again.

SERT Jurisdiction:

SERT Jurisdiction is where ever they are needed they will respond to armed gun reports and big groups of rebels. They can do raids on Rebel Outposts too.

Tactical Document

T.A.S

Tactical. Armed. Stop

What is T.A.S:

T.A.S is used by S.W.A.T to bring a suspect vehicle to a full stop via blocking the said vehicle in via two S.W.A.T vehicles, to prevent the suspect vehicle from moving forwards or backwards.

When is T.A.S used:

T.A.S is issued on a vehicle that has gun markers, or has a high priority occupant or occupants inside a said vehicle.

How to T.A.S:

T.A.S in all rights is a dangerous maneuver, especially at a high volume of speed, the limits on such a maneuver are;

  • Not to be carried out if the vehicle is moving faster than 65 KPH.

  • Vehicle is large in size i.e, Truck or a Bus.

  • Occupant(s) are low priority targets.

  • Traffic conditions are heavy.

  • There is a high volume of pedestrians near you.

You should never perform a T.A.S maneuver with someone that is NOT familiarised with said maneuver, you can only carry out a T.A.S maneuver once you have been fully trained in the maneuver.
